Good morning, this is Drew with your morning announcements.

Today is Friday, September 6th and it is national “read a book” day.

For lunch today, we’ll have quesidillas and bean dip.

Any students in grades 7-12 interested in participating in the One Act Play please sign up on the sheet outside Mrs. Roach’s door.

In sports:

Today the Cougars will be traveling to Mohall, game time is 7pm. Please dismiss the team at 2:50. Bus time is 3pm.

In volleyball, congrats to junior high for your win over St. John last night and in elementary girls’ basketball the 4th and 5th graders won their game.  Good job Comets!

There will be a varsity VB tournament at Bottineau on Saturday.  Good Luck Comets!

Extra homecoming t-shirt order forms are in the school office. Please turn in your orders with payment by September 12th.

Freshmen: Please sign the paper on the wall opposite your lockers if you are interested in becoming a Sources of Strength peer leader.

Rolette School students and adults: Please sign the paper on the lunchroom wall if you plan to walk in the Rolette County Out of the Darkness Community Walk on Sunday, Sept. 15. It will be held at the Rolette Memorial Hall starting at 1 p.m.  The school with the most walkers gets the traveling trophy!!

The Rolette Roughriders 4-H group will be meeting at 4 PM on September 8th at Valle Lutheran Church. Anyone interested in joining 4H and all current members, are encouraged to attend. Any questions, you can contact Jackie Heinz (389-9997).
