Good morning, this is Samantha and Kirklan with your morning announcements.

Today is Tuesday, September 17th  and it is National “Apple Dumpling” Day.

It is a very special day today as it is Elizabeth Lewis and Heaven Swain’s birthdays! Have a great day girls!

For lunch today, we’ll have, Kirklan Grenier’s favorite, spaghetti and garlic toast. For breakfast tomorrow, we’ll have oatmeal and for lunch, hamburgers and potato wedges.

Hot Lunch Program: For those that pay for meals by the month, 20 school days, your next payment is now due.

In sports:

Congrats to the JV/JH football team for your win over TGU last night with a score of 44 to 0! Way to play hard guys!

Due to a water outage in Dunseith Day today, the elementary girls basketball game has been cancelled. There will be practice instead at 3:30.

The FCCLA pizza and scavenger hunt will be held tonight at 6pm.

A special thank-you to those who participated in the Rolette County Out of the Darkness Walk on Sunday! Rolette School had 5 more student walkers than St. John, so we keep the traveling trophy! Good job, students!!!

One week from today is our Grades K-12 Sources of Strength Color Walk/Run here from 1:30-3:00! Please try and find a white t-shirt to wear that day. It’s okay if it has some writing on it.

There will be a sources of strength peer leaders meeting tomorrow at noon in the HS computer lab. Please bring your lunch.

Parent/teacher conferences will be held tomorrow from 3:10 to 9pm. Remind your parents!

Vending Survey: Please complete both sides of the survey and turn in to the office today.  Thanks!

Students: Please see Mrs. Crofutt if you are interested in nursing as a career. There will be an opportunity for interested students on Monday, Sept. 23rd .

Seniors: Please meet with Mrs. Zavada in the counseling office tomorrow at your scheduled times. The schedule is on the wall across from your lockers.

The National Guard rep will be here at 9:30 tomorrow morning to meet with Seniors.  He will also meet with some juniors that have expressed interest.

There will be a junior class meeting tomorrow morning at 8:15.

There is no volleyball practice tonight.

One act drama meet in the Eng room at 8 tomorrow morning.
