Good morning, this is Sierra and Ivy with your morning announcements:

Today is Wednesday, October 2nd and it is National “Custodian Appreciation” Day. Thank you Chuck and Todd for all you do!

For lunch today, we’ll have teriyaki steak bombs, corn, and sweet potato puff. For breakfast tomorrow, we’ll have cheesy apple tart and for lunch, beef stroganoff and noodles.

In Sports:

The Hornets outscored the Lady Comets last night but the Lady Comets played their hearts out!  Fun game to watch!!

Congrats to the 5th grade girls for your win over Dunseith last night! 6th grade lost their game but was a close one! Good job girls!!

The Elementary girls will be at Rugby today, game time is 4:30. BT is 3:30.

The Lady Comets will be at Lakota tomorrow, ABJH at 4:30. Bus time is 2pm.

JH football will be taking on North Star tomorrow, in our last game of the season, at Rolla at 5pm.

Tomorrow is Disco Day – Dress like you’re going to the Disco!

Congrats to the following FFA students that competed in the Career Development event at Rugby yesterday:

Connor Beck received a bronze for Job Employment.

Mitchell Wibe received a bronze for Extemporary Speech.

Kyle Schell received a bronze for FFA Creed.

Both of our quiz teams (Green Hand and Senior Quiz) received bronze.

There will be a sources of strength peer leaders meeting today during lunch.

School and class pictures will be taken next week Tuesday, October 8th.

One Act needs to meet at 7:45 tomorrow morning sharp in Mrs. Roach’s room! If you are not there you will be dropped from the production.
