Michele Grenier, Business Manager

Michele Grenier, a caffeine based life form grew up in northern Idaho and Williston, ND.  She married Wade Grenier (the luckiest man alive), who hails from Rolette.  A few years later, he drug her kicking and screaming to this quaint little town.  She has grown to love this community and especially this school.  She has three incredibly cool kids, two who attend Rolette Public School (my apologies to the teachers), and one attending Augsburg University.  She can cook a 30-minute meal in 20 minutes, and it tastes like it.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, full contact solitaire and working on her corduroy evening wear line she hopes to market someday.  She’s never been a millionaire, but she knows she’d be great at it.

The Business Manager is responsible for financial management in compliance with state and federal reporting requirements; grant fiscal management; accounts payable and receivable; budgeting; coordinating external audits; preparation of monthly financials for the board, annual budget report for state, human resource functions of payroll and benefits, and some purchases.

I have been with the Rolette School District since 2014. I graduated from Minot State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. Prior to working with the district,  I have worked for Farmers Union Oil of Rolette, Harlow’s Bus Sales/Service, North Central Correctional & Rehabilitation Center (Rugby, ND), State Developmental Center (Grafton), Lutheran Social Services Northwest (Spokane, WA) & Williston State College (formerly UND-Williston).
